WheresYourDuckBeen started out as a small idea my brother (Gary Charters) had continued after a friend of his gave him a small yellow rubber duck after it was annouced she was unable to go on a holiday she originally planned. Since the day she gave my brother the yellow duck he took around 100 photos in different locations from England, Egypt, Afagnistan, Canada, Poland and many other distant countrys.

I followed the stream of pictures my brother took while he continued to travel the world and while discussing the reason why he’d taken these pictures we started to discuss ways how this humours idea of travelling the world with a rubber duck could be implemented as a website. Being a web designer myself I brainstormed ideas to start a website design and how the whole site will function. Once i’d figured out plans for the site and checked there were no previous sites doing the same idea I contacted some of my friends that are website programmers to discuss how we could create the website platform and what features could be implemented. All of whom were told about the website idea were excited and hopeful I could create it asap for them to use!

With so much positive feedback from those that knew the general idea behind the website and wanted to take part I started on website designs immediatly.
